FGASA is the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa and represents individual Tourist Guides, Nature, Culture and Adventure guides and Trackers.

The association sets qualifications and maintains exceptional standards for field guides in the tourism industry. All Shamwari rangers are FGASA accredited and are highly skilled professional nature guides.

The FGASA Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 7th August 2019 to give recognition to field guides that are excelling in the industry.
