Luxury Inspired by Nature
A stay at Shamwari Private Game Reserve is one that will remain with you forever. Due to its location in the heart of the Eastern Cape, the reserve offers abundant wildlife, fauna and flora exclusive to the area and unforgettable encounters with nature.
This is our third night, another two to go. The guides are amazing and all the staff make you feel incredibly welcome. I have seen such a wide range of animals and birds at very close quarters and each day gets better. The accommodation is luxurious and you will never go hungry. This place is a gem
Shamwari to me is heaven on earth! It is amazing what has been realised here, this is a celebration of conservation effort! I've been to Shamwari 6 times now and I know I will keep coming back
Our experience at Shamwari was second to none. The team is, without fail, extremely successful in their service and operational skills. Everything was perfect: as this destination formed part of our honeymoon, the team went through special lengths to make it romantic
Absolutely superb experience. Friendly and efficient staff, luxurious accommodation, delicious food and the game viewing is incredibly special. The animals are relaxed and this means you can view them in close proximity. We even got to see the big 5!!!
I can't speak highly enough about this game reserve! My friends arranged it for my 40th birthday and all I can say we all had the best time! Our ranger was absolutely fantastic and became a part of our group in no time. Absolute 5 star experience in every way! Thank you to everyone at Shamwari for making my birthday so special and wonderful! We miss you all and can't wait to return one day.
Just returned from a 2 night stay. Accommodation, staff, service absolutely amazing. 4 safaris during our stay with our ranger was awesome, with enthusiasm, knowledge and huge sense of fun and found us all the big 5 and more. A once in a lifetime experience. Loved it and shall never forget the experience
