“Elephant Uno”
Loxodonta Africana

Canvas Print, Edition / 30
1.6m x 1.125m Framed

An elephant bull is the largest land mammal on our planet weighing in at ten tonnes. Even he is dwarfed by the magnitude of our living planet.

“Two & a Half”
Trafelaphus Strepsiceros

Canvas Print, Edition /30
1.6m x 1.125m Framed

As the last light of an African day fell, two red hartebeest were on the lookout as a third fed. Such is the survival technique of the African savannah dwellers.

“Stand Tall”
Camelopardalis

Canvans Print, Edition /30
1.6m x 1.125 Framed

Elegance beyond a human creativity. A giraffe will sway left and right before peering curiously back at us and silhouetting away unhurried and beautiful.

“The Gaze”
Leo Panthera

Canvas Print, Edition /30
1.125m x 1.6m Framed

This young male lion gazes across Shamwari’s southern plains. Content that the northern male is no where near his boundary he surveys his kingdom before laying his huge head to rest.

“Together Again”
Ceratotherium Simum

Canvas Print, Edition /30
1.125m x 1.6m Framed

In the mid eighties black rhinoceros were standing on the brink of extinction from poaching and hunting. Today after a concerted effort we are blessed to have a stabilised South African population.

“Field of Elephants”
Loxodonta Africana

Canvas Print, Edition /30
1.125m x 1.6m Framed

It was truly and honour and privilege to experience the emotions and nuances of this large group of pachyderms. To understand their compassion, strength and humour, one must only sit back quietly and observe.

“Timeless”
Panthera Pardus

Canvass Print, Edition /30
1.6m x 1.125m Framed

The leopard is by far the most adaptable of the big cats. She is the quintessential predator and will only be observed or photographed if she chooses to extend that timeless gift.

“Lost Soul”
Acinonyx Jubatus”

Canvas Print, Edition / 30
1.125m x 1.6m framed

She called but no reply. Perhaps looking for her older male cub that she had recently weaned. The autumn sun glanced from the clouds to halo her lonely form on the Shamwari plain.

“Buffalo Soldier”
Syncerus Caffer

Canvas Print, Edition /30
1.6m x 1.125m Framed

A male buffalo is one of the most dangerous animals in the Africa veldt. This buffalo allowed me within seven metres of him whilst giving me that quizzical look. The moment was over in seconds as he stood his ground & I retreated.
